Important Update on AIMSE Events

Dear AIMSE Members,

After carefully monitoring events associated with the COVID-19 pandemic we are officially postponing the 43rd Annual Conference scheduled for May 3-5 in Boca Raton, Florida. We plan to re-schedule the conference in mid-November at the same venue. Please stay tuned for updates and program announcements in the coming weeks and months.

For those of you that have already registered for the Annual Conference and/or have already booked your hotel room, please be advised that we will be in touch with each of you to discuss your options and potential next steps.

An increasing number of companies, organizations and municipalities have instituted travel restrictions or bans and AIMSE must respond accordingly. These developments, as well as the health and safety of our membership, are why we are taking this course of action.

It will come as no surprise that we are also cancelling our upcoming regional events. As soon as possible, we will resume regional activities and efforts are already underway to expand our programming once we have a green light. Our aim is to deliver a series of memorable and exciting regional events and programming in Q3 and Q4 of this year.

As a result of moving the Annual Conference, it became necessary to cancel the Fall Conference on October 13-14 in Chicago, as it is not feasible to hold two large conferences within 30 days of each other.

Instead, we will channel all of our energy, efforts, and resources into delivering an exceptional program in mid-November, that we are sure will reward you both personally and professionally — provided that you: Join. Attend.

We continue to hold those directly affected by COVID-19 in our thoughts and we remain grateful to our health care and public safety professionals for their service and sacrifice during this very challenging time.
